What do you do?
Villages in Action was established to enliven and empower communities in Devon through engagement with the arts. We bring theatre, music, dance, circus, spoken word, storytelling, puppetry and poetry from around the world to village halls, churches and community spaces. Expect a warm welcome wherever you go! By supporting people to organise their own cultural activity Villages in Action aims to enhance the quality of life for all members of our communities; combatting isolation and encouraging social inclusion. Villages in Action is a registered charity and governed by a board of unpaid trustees, currently receiving funds from Arts Council England and East Devon District Council, with recent project funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.
