ACED Workshop: Producing Live Events

New to producing live events or just need a refresher?
Join this free workshop to understand all aspects of delivering a successful event, including:

  • event concept and design
  • importance of networking
  • tools for planning and organising
  • social media and marketing
  • health and safety
  • making your event as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.

East Devon District Council’s Events Officer will also explain what to consider when organising an event on council-owned land in East Devon and answer any questions.

About the trainer:
Andrew Pilkington brings over 11 years of expertise in orchestrating live music events, club nights and managing the stages at festivals including Glastonbury, Leeds Festival, Green Man and Boardmasters.  Over the past 2 years he has been part of the team at Chai Wallahs, a 2000-capacity independent festival venue. Alongside his work with Chai Wallahs, he is presently based in East Devon launching workshops to share his knowledge with the next generation of aspiring music professionals.
